Measurements should be width first followed by the drop
- Drop is from the top of head rail to underside of bottom bar
- Measure to the nearest 0.1 cm
- We will custom make your blinds to sizes you provide, if these are incorrect it is not possible to change your blind as they are tailor made for you
Fitting option: ‘Recess Size’
- Blinds will be installed within the window opening
- Ensure you supply us your exact measurements (Width & Drop)
- To ensure the blinds fit when brackets are affixed we will deduct 12 mm
Valance Option: ‘Standard Valance’
- We supply a valance exactly the width of the blind plus 10mm
- If “Recess option has been selected valance will be the width 12 mm + 10 mm
This is when you want to fit your blind inside the window recess
- Measure width by taking width of the recess from wall to wall in at least 2 places
- Measure drop by taking measurement from top of the recess to the window sill in at least 2 places
- Alternatively measure where you wish the blind to start and finish on the window frame itself.
Mitred Returns
- Cover the side of head rail fixings
- We supply a front valance plus two sides that are cut to fit over the side of the blind head rail.
- You would order mitred returns when you can see the side of the blind/bracket
Uncut Out of the Box
- You would order these if 2 or more blinds meet
- We supply 2 metre returns and a valance that is over long, you can then cut this to provide a perfect fit
Standard Valance
- Do not cover the side of head rail fixings
- We supply a valance exactly the width of the blind plus 10 mm
This is when you want to position your blind outside the window recess
- Measure the width of where you would like your blind to be
- Measure the exact drop of where you want your blind to be
- We recommend positioning the blind inside the architrave
- The architrave acts as a natural frame
- Measure the width of where you would like your blind to be
- Measure the exact drop of where you want your blind to be
